Young
children can play on the beach at the end
of the spit or fish for shiners, perch & bullheads
at the Government dock. The view of Chrome
Lighthouse is spectacular and well worth
photographing. We are close to clam & oyster
beds, excellent swimming, Denman & Hornby
Islands, golf, tennis, as well as boat
rentals & charters and canoe & kayak
rentals.

General Store
The store offers customers a chance to buy most
basic groceries including fresh bread, dairy
products and a limited amount of fresh produce.
A wide variety of fishing gear as well as licenses
for both fresh and salt water are available.
We also sell boat gas, jerry cans and other products
to help maintain your boat. Refreshments, snacks,
ice cream and penny candy are also available.
Licensed Cafe
The Cafe has indoor seating
for 20 but we also have picnic tables outside
so that customers
can enjoy the beautiful sunshine. We are now
licensed and offer a selection of beers, ciders,
coolers and wine for those who are of legal drinking
age. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served daily
and the coffee is always hot. Stop in sometime
and try our Fish & Chips.
Boat Launch
The Ship & Shore Marine's
boat launch is located right in front of the
cafe. It is good
in all tides and is equipped with a table to
clean your catch.
RV & Tent Campground
Looking for a new place to
camp? Ship & Shore
Marine's campground has a view that's hard to
forget! Located on the shore of picturesque Deep
Bay our view extends up Baynes Sound, backed
by the mountains on the left and Denman Island
on the right.
Open all year, Ship & Shore
offers both RV and tenting areas.
